From the Teacher's POV

Megan had parent teacher conferences yesterday. They went pretty well. She has a student whose parents are deaf and they attended their first parent teacher conferences. So that's cool. One of her top students came in. With a push from her dad she tearfully admitted to adding some minutes to her reading log and forging her parents signature. Megan reports that she had to fight back her laughter. I can fully imagine this students fear of coming in and telling Megan this. I can imagine me having to do it when I was younger. And Megan just thinks it's the funniest thing, and really doesn't care about it at all. I like being on this side better.
